Data processed
Browsing data
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.). To run and protect the service, GitHub automatically logs technical data about visits, such as IP address, date and time, and the page requested. We do not receive this data and do not use it to identify visitors. GitHub processes it under its own privacy statement; transfers to the United States take place with the safeguards provided by the GDPR.
If you write to info@miaplc.it we use your address and what you write only to reply, and keep them as long as needed to handle your request. The address is a forwarding service run by ImprovMX, which delivers the message to our mailbox. Legal basis: your request and our legitimate interest in replying (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
Cookies and browser storage
The site sets no cookies. That is why there is no cookie banner.
The simulator (Try it page) saves in your browser's local storage (localStorage), under keys starting with espplc.:
your program, the state of the simulated PLC, the language and editor settings. This only makes the simulator work and keeps your work if you reload the page.
These are technical tools: they need no consent, are not sent anywhere and we cannot read them.
To delete them: press Reset mock in the simulator, or clear the site data for miaplc.it in your browser settings.
External links
Links to GitHub, YouTube, Instagram and TikTok lead to third-party sites with their own privacy and cookie rules. None of their content is loaded in our pages until you click.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data, restrict its processing or object to it (Articles 15–22 GDPR) by writing to info@miaplc.it. If you believe your data is being processed unlawfully you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante) or the authority of your country.
Changes
If the site changes, for example by adding analytics or embedded videos, we will update this page and, where required, ask for consent before enabling them.
